Oklahoma River Cruises is Oklahoma City’s NEWEST attraction! Come embark upon a unique experience you simply won’t find anywhere else. The NEW Oklahoma River Cruisers, Devon Discovery, Devon Explorer and Devon Pioneer, tour a seven-mile stretch of the beautiful Oklahoma River. Take it all in from a new perspective…there are countless treasures that await your discovery. Oklahoma River Cruises offer:
The Cruisers travel between Meridian Landing at SW 15th & Meridian and Regatta Park Landing at SW 7th & Byres. Daytime Public Cruises currently serve both Meridian Landing and Regatta Park Landing. Depending on the type of cruise, the Cruisers will carry 35-40 passengers each.
The Oklahoma River Cruisers link directly with the Oklahoma Spirit Trolley lines, making the Cruisers an integral part of the regional transit system. They are expected to stimulate continued revitalization along the riverfront while supporting tourism growth in the area. In addition, the attractive and comfortable vessels will connect commerce with communities, improving transportation between these areas, while reducing demand for visitor parking.
Proposed stops to be added in the second and third phases include Stockyards City, the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds, Dell, the American Indian Cultural Center; and with stops also slated for the Farmers Public Market, Wheeler Park, Wiley Post Park, Riverfest Place and Walnut Grove.
The Oklahoma River Cruises are the newest addition to METRO Transit's service line. METRO Transit is a division of the Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority (COTPA).
